Jan Gottesman, President, Spicers Paper – Jan has spent her entire professional career in the paper industry, and brings broad experience to her role as president of Spicers Paper and its sister company, Kelly Paper. Jan began her career in sales and marketing roles for Atlanta-based Neenah Paper before her appointment to Director of Marketing, leading one of the industry’s best known and creative product marketing and development programs. In 2001 Jan moved to Neenah’s parent company, Kimberly-Clark, taking on the role of Director of Global Strategy/Commercial Towel and Tissue business. She moved back to her native California in 2007 to lead Kelly Paper, and in 2011 became the president of Spicers, leading the company through its 2012 acquisition by Central National-Gottesman Inc.
Rick Anderson, Vice President, Finance & Administration – Rick has accumulated broad international experience during his 30 year career in the paper industry, starting with Spicers Paper in Australia in 1983. He initially worked in finance and accounting roles progressing to the position of Financial Controller for Spicers in Australia. Rick moved into the sales and operations side of the business in 1997 taking on a Regional Management position and progressing to run Spicers Paper New Zealand in 1999 and Edwards Dunlop Paper in Australia in 2000. Rick and his family relocated to the US in 2002 as part of PaperlinX and Rick was responsible for the expansion of Spicers Paper in his role as Vice President of Midwest Operations. In 2006 Rick moved to California and assumed the role of VP of Purchasing for PaperlinX North America and managed the company’s supply relationships in the USA and Canada. In 2012 Rick was appointed Vice President, Finance & Administration overseeing all finance, treasury, legal, purchasing and administrative functions for both Spicers Paper and Kelly Paper.
