Spicers has always been an independent, regional paper company– and we continue to reflect those values today.
Our legacy as a strong local presence includes deep ties to such well-established paper merchants as the Noland Paper Co. (est. 1949), La Salle Paper (est. 1935), the Fraser Paper Co., Barber-Ellis Fine Paper and Seaboard Paper.
In 2012, Spicers became a member of Central National-Gottesman Inc. (CNG), one of the world’s largest privately held pulp, paper, packaging and tissue companies.
American owned and operated, CNG is a fifth-generation family-run company that has been in the paper business for more than 125 years.
Balanced by our own rich heritage as a nimble, customer-first merchant with a can-do culture, our new ownership positions Spicers for new growth with a focus on our core business: paper.
